Voodle #2: Five Seconds
For your second voodle, create a five-second video, with two-second opening titles and one-second closing titles (so really, a total of eight seconds).
This video should contain at least one edit (not including the titles). It should also convey some sense of development over time – that is, it should have a beginning, middle, and end. You may use original or found footage (abiding by fair use), but you may not use original animation or motion graphics. This project should include sound.
Think creatively – what kind of story or emotion can you convey in five seconds? What role is editing going to play here – will you include lots of short clips? A couple long clips? Think small, and think about how you might make a seemingly insignificant moment into something poignant or interesting by turning it into a tiny movie.
