Presentation: Deconstructing Motion Design

For this presentation, you and a partner will select an example of computer-based motion design (including interactive works) to share with the class. You’ll have 15 minutes to present the work and discuss its design strategies and significance.

Of course, whatever you choose should have relevance to the concepts covered in this course, but you’re especially encouraged to look for examples that expand beyond the kind of work we’ve look at so far. So, you could choose an example of motion design in advertising or feature films; an interactive DVD; a web game or online nonlinear story; or something else you’ve come across.

Show us the work (or an excerpt, and then tell us about it).

In presenting the work, be sure to address the following points (as applicable):

In addition, you and your partner will turn in a single typed sheet with the following information:

Presentations should be ready to go on Tuesday, November 10th, but will take place on both Tuesday and Thursday of that week.

Each team member will receive the same grade, based on content and quality of speaking/presentation.
